Vegan waffles with goodness of plant protein

We love experimenting with food and build our own recipes. We tried this new recipe for vegan flour less waffles and they turned out be amazing. We are happy to share this recipe with you.

Dry Ingredients:

  1. Almond flour – 1 cup
  2. Coconut flour – 1/3 cup
  3. Plant Protein – 1/4 cup (Optional if you want to bump up the protein content)
  4. Flax seed powder – 1/3 cup
  5. Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp (optional depending on your Chocolate liking. We love it!)
  6. Baking powder – 1 tsp

Wet Ingredients:

  1. Banana – 1 medium sized
  2. Peanut butter – 2 tbsp ( you can use any other nut butter)
  3. Soy milk – 1/3 cup (you can use any other plant based milk)
  4. Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp

Topping

  1. Pecans ( you can use any other nuts)
  2. Blue berries
  3. Strawberries
  4. Coconut vegan whipped cream

Preparation steps:

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl as shown in the video
  2. Mash a banana in a separate bowl until you reach liquid consistency
  3. Add other wet ingredients into mashed banana and mix it well
  4. Mix dry ingredients mixture to the wet ingredients until you reach desired consistency
  5. Cook it in a waffle maker for 5 to 10 mins
  6. Top your waffles with vegan whipped cream, nuts and some berries
